BINDER anchors sustainability consistently in its business processes

For 2026 BINDER was awarded the bronze medal by EcoVadis, an internationally recognised provider of sustainability ratings for global supply chains. The award reflects the continuous progress made in integrating sustainability systematically into business processes.

In purchasing, suppliers are now assessed in a more structured way in order to identify sustainability and climate risks at an early stage. Sustainability criteria are given equal weight alongside cost, quality and risk. Standardised processes ensure transparency and make progress verifiably measurable.

The assessment also shows progress in human resources: a comprehensive compliance analysis and a clearly defined human rights policy help to make responsibility visible and to reduce risks in a targeted way.

Further measures have also been implemented operationally: in logistics, only electrically powered industrial trucks are used. In addition, the in-house transport fleet has been expanded with a fully electric vehicle.

The EcoVadis bronze medal marks an important milestone and underlines our commitment to continuously developing our environmental and social performance.
